Redder Texas: Republican Party of Texas Growth Plan

Building the structure and momentum needed to win every seat and every election

Overview

The Republican Party of Texas plays an increasingly important role in shaping the future direction of our country. The divide between the major parties is wider than many people have ever seen, tensions are elevated, and public trust is strained. Confusion and competing narratives have left many Americans uncertain, while divisions within our own ranks can sometimes distract from shared goals.

There is a path forward.

At its core, the Republican Party is united by principles rooted in faith, family, and the protection of fundamental rights. These values emphasize respect for life, liberty, property, and personal responsibility. Many Republicans believe current policy debates — including issues surrounding children, border security, and government spending — reflect stark differences in priorities and governance philosophy.

Navigating these challenges requires clarity, unity, and a renewed focus on the principles that bring the party together, and on the principles that are so important for us to achieve, such as property tax elimination, closed primaries, and not allowing sharia law or colonias into Texas.

We have to win — and that means strengthening the Republican Party, so we are competitive in every seat and every election.

Success doesn't happen by accident; it comes from organization, discipline, and a shared commitment to execution. To move us in that direction, I've outlined a plan focused on building the structure and momentum needed to meet this challenge. As Texas goes, so goes the nation — and our work here has an impact far beyond our borders.

Looking Ahead: What It Means to Be a Republican

If we're going to lead the Republican Party of Texas, we first have to be clear about what a Republican actually is.

That should not be hard.

A Republican cannot be someone who, when asked a basic question, can't give a straight answer—like a Supreme Court justice who can't even define what a woman is. If you want to lead, you must be able to explain what you believe.

And if you want to lead the Republican Party, you ought to be able to say plainly what it means to be a Republican.

So let's start where we should—history.

The Republican Party of Texas was founded in 1867. From the very beginning, its statement of beliefs repeated a simple but powerful phrase: "without race or color." Republicans believed then, just as we believe today, in the declaration of our Founding Fathers—that all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with unalienable rights: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

A Republican believes first in equality—without distinction of race or color.

A Republican believes in a republican form of government, where power rests with the people, who elect representatives to govern, not with monarchs, dictators, or political elites.

A Republican embraces a Constitution that protects individual, God-given rights.

A Republican believes in limited government—not because we distrust people, but because our State and Federal Constitutions were intentionally designed to restrain government.

A Republican believes in God and in eternal principles. Those principles are stated clearly in the Republican Party of Texas platform, right at the beginning, in the Preamble. It affirms that our rights come from God, not government; that freedom is worth defending; that the traditional family is the foundation of our nation; that innocent life must be protected; that opportunity is created through free markets; and that without sovereignty, we risk losing the freedom to live out these ideals.

So let me ask a very practical question: Why would anyone want to join an organization if its leaders cannot clearly explain what it stands for?

We owe Texans clarity.

Like the Republicans who founded this party, we must fight for individual liberty and God-given rights. We must insist on equality for all, without distinction of race or color. Justice must be blind to status or title. Government must treat every person with dignity and fairness. Government must be limited—not people. Families must remain the core of our society. Innocent life must be respected and protected. And free markets must be defended.

That is what it means to be a Republican.

I have traveled more than 100 cities across Texas, and I know the heart of Texan Patriots. We want good governance, and we want to protect our state so it can prosper and endure. I will tap into Texans. I will be calling you—because a good leader cannot lead alone. Texas is better when it's redder. I don't want Texas to have just a good leader of the Republican Party of Texas; I want to give Texas an excellent leader.

My Background

Currently, I serve as the Vice-Chair of the RPT. My election is not the installation of a new regime any more than Vice-President Vance succeeding President Trump would be. I am running because I will be free to implement key goals and tactics that I cannot in my current position. I believe that these strategies and methods are essential to future Republican victory.

I have traveled to more than 100 cities across Texas, and I know the heart of Texan Patriots. I will tap into Texans. A good leader cannot lead alone, so this plan embraces every elected Republican official and every Republican group.

Texas is better when it's redder. I don't want Texas to have just a good leader of the Republican Party of Texas; I want to give Texas excellent leadership that can be passed on to others who will continue the momentum we achieve together.

Organization

The RPT represents the Republicans of Texas. The Chair and Vice-Chair are chosen at the bi-annual convention by the convention delegates. By RPT rules, they must be opposite genders. The State Republican Executive Committee (SREC) is also chosen at convention, with a man and a woman representing each of the 31 State Senate districts across Texas.

Beyond that, the internal structure is left to the Chair to determine as best suits the mission. The following internal roles will be necessary:

Political Director

Manages key legislation designated by the RPT, stewards legislation through the entire legislative process, and fosters relationships at the Capitol.

Director of Organizational Operations

Oversees the organization's structure, ensuring adherence to bylaws, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures.

Communications Director

Maintains cohesive and consistent branding that aligns with RPT goals. Manages media relations and social media.

Information Technology

Ensures reliable data access for the RPT and Republican office holders. Involved in election integrity efforts and validating voter rolls.

Fundraising

Motivates large and small donors to help achieve the mission of a Redder Texas. Creates connections and excitement for the vision.

Voter Engagement

Organizes robust voter registration drives and GOTV strategies beyond just messaging.

Training

Trains County Chairs, Precinct Chairs, candidates, and everyday Republicans in the most effective political best practices.

Campaign Support

Provides ample support to Republicans to defeat Democrats in general elections and non-partisan races.

Ambassador Network

Collaborates with groups to promote involvement and strengthen connections through social media and outreach.

Convention Director

Creates early logistics and develops organizational framework for conventions.

Branding: What is a Republican?

A Republican cannot be someone who, when asked a basic question, can't give a straight answer. If you want to lead, you must be able to explain what you believe, and to lead the Republican Party, you ought to be able to say plainly what it means to be a Republican.

The Texas Republican Party was founded in 1867. From the very beginning, its statement of beliefs repeated a simple but powerful phrase: "without race or color."

Republicans believed then, just as we believe today, in the declaration of our Founding Fathers - that all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with unalienable rights: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Equality - without distinction of race or color
A republican form of government, where power rests with the people
A Constitution that protects individual, God-given rights
Limited government - intentionally designed to restrain government power
Faith in God and eternal principles
Rights come from God, not government
Freedom is worth defending
The traditional family is the foundation of our nation
Innocent life must be protected
Opportunity is created through free markets
Sovereignty is essential to preserve freedom

Our Message:

The GOP is about people, opportunity, and prosperity.

The GOP wants to limit government, not people.

Operations

As Chair, I will begin by staffing the roles and centering the team on our unified vision of a Redder Texas. We will aim to turn each county in Texas red. While that may seem lofty, it's better to aim high and miss it by a little than to aim low and retire after accomplishing little.

The RPT staff exists to serve the Republicans of Texas. They are there to guide and advise, but not to run roughshod over them or ignore them.

SREC (State Republican Executive Committee)

Many Texans aren't aware that the RPT has an executive committee made up of elected representatives from each State Senate district — one man and one woman chosen at convention to represent their grassroots. Strengthening and promoting this role is important. With focused training in outreach and effective communication, these leaders can better connect with their districts and amplify the work happening across the state.

I would like to establish an annual session — similar to a retreat — where we revisit our mission, share practical solutions, and collaborate on challenges unique to each district. This is a talented group that wants a strong future for Texas, and I've already seen their commitment firsthand.

County Chairs

Our County Chairs might be the most neglected group of office holders in Texas. That must change. They need to be trained and included much as the SREC will be. We also need to have an annual retreat to enrich their skills in voter engagement and candidate recruitment.

For those Chairs who reside in a blue county, we need to pull resources from other red counties to help them. We need a straight line of communication between them and the Chair and Vice-Chair.

At the county level, I'd like to implement incentives for voter registration drives and voter turnout. I don't want counties to compete against each other, but against their history. We must drive toward constant improvement and seek ways to accomplish that.

Precinct Chairs

As a former Precinct Chair who served for 12 years, I've seen how critical strong precinct leadership is. They are the building foundation of our party. As Vice Chair, I have done precinct training to help volunteers understand the importance of this role and to step into their role with confidence.

Texas is better when it's redder, and that must be the goal of everyone.

Funding

People hand over their hard-earned money when they perceive value. We need accountable metrics that demonstrate improvement over time. We will establish achievable goals and drive to meet our marks.

The GOP often receives the complaint that it doesn't fight. I will lead the fight. My team and I will drive the RPT to greater success.

We will communicate better and more consistently. We will build coalitions among groups. We will identify and empower ambassadors who can foster unity and perform as liaisons to facilitate cooperation.

We need to develop an attitude of Republi-CAN. It should feel fun to be a patriot and a Republican.

We're not asking people to give to the Republican Party. We're asking people to invest in the vibrant vision we put forth, and then we will show them how their contribution at any level helped to make that vision come alive.

Summary

There is no excuse for rumors of Democrats gaining ground in Texas. We need to act to squash such ambitions. Let them fight in other states where being a Democrat offers less to the people and being a Republican means a stronger economy, safer neighborhoods, more jobs, and people who enjoy their God-given rights in peace and security.

I'm running because I'm ready for this and I know it can be done. Let's get it done.
